Concealed Carry
Is Purdue University denying its students their constitutional right to protect themselves by having a ban on properly licensed handgun carrying? Would Purdue University be a safer place if students with proper training and concealed carry permits were allowed to exercise their Second Amendment right and arm themselves while on campus? Or, would students be in more danger if guns were allowed on "school" grounds and does a university qualify as a school to be protected by the Gun-Free Schools Act? Young Americans for Liberty (YAL)- Purdue Chapter hosted this discussion while members of the Purdue University Police Department and Representatives of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus made up the expert panel.
